Connect to TripAdvisor

Preparing for the Connection

Step 1: Create or Claim Your Business Listing

To connect your property to TripAdvisor, a valid business listing is required. Depending on your situation:

• Existing Business:

  1. Go to TripAdvisor Owners.

  2. Search for your business and click “Claim Your Business.”

• New Business:

  1. Go to Get Listed.

  2. Fill in your business name, country, and address.

  3. TripAdvisor will verify the information and send a confirmation within approximately five business days.

  4. After verification, claim your listing via TripAdvisor Owners.

Step 2: Choose Your Booking Engine

A Booking Engine is required for the connection. Click on:

• Third-Party Booking Engine

Step 3: Subscribe to a TripAdvisor Commercial Plan

Choose one of the two models:

• TripConnect Instant Booking

• TripConnect Cost-Per-Click

Make sure the Connectivity Partner is set to OTASwitch.

Zeevou and TripAdvisor Connection Setup

Step 4: Start Connection in Zeevou

1. Go to Channel Mapping in Zeevou.

2. Navigate to Meta Channel, then click on TripAdvisor.

3. You’ll be redirected to the TripAdvisor wizard.

4. Fill in all required fields and save the profile.

Step 5: Room Mapping

1. Choose a room and click Map.

2. Update the room information if necessary.

3. Click Next, then Map Rate Plan, and finally Save.

4. The room is now connected to TripAdvisor.

Step 6: Set the Booking Engine in Zeevou

1. In TripAdvisor Mapping, choose Third Party.

2. Enter your third-party booking engine URL and the necessary parameters:

   • checkin, checkout, dateformat, adult, child, language, currency

3. Add the TripAdvisor ID.

4. Save.
