The channel tax in Zeevou (VAT in BDC) is the tax that the channel includes in the price the guest is paying. This tax is shown in Price Breakdown and BDC calculates it automatically. For example, if the rate is 120 on BDC, you’ll see 100 as accommodation and 20 as channel tax on Zeevou because the rate reflected on BDC which includes VAT is separated as the accommodation itself & the added 20% VAT on Zeevou.
If you as a host communicate to BDC about the tax and send some papers and proof, BDC will not calculate taxes for you.
