Connecting Booking.com to Zeevou
NOTE: !!! Before connecting to Booking.com, make sure that you have fully set up your property, unit type, and unit on Zeevou, or you will end up getting bookings flowing into system-generated units that will be a lot of manual work to then put right. !!!
Step 4: Under Channel Manager’s Name click on Search for Providers and type Zeevou.
Step 5: Click on Next.
Step 6: Scroll to the bottom and click on the tick-box next to I have read, accepted, and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Step 7: Click on Accept.
Step 8: You will now have reached Step 3. At this point, you need to wait for Booking.com to contact Zeevou and for us to confirm the integration.
Step 9: Once confirmed, you will get an email to let you know that you can proceed with the mapping.
Step 10: While waiting for the confirmation, copy your 6-digit Property ID from Booking.com (you can find it in the centre of the page at the top of your Extranet).
Step 11: Go to app.zeevou.com and click on Listings.
Step 12: Select your desired Listing.
Step 13: Click on Manage Channels on the top right.
Note: if you are using Safari, the new pop-up window might not open. Please follow the steps mentioned here.
Step 14: Click on Select Channel on the right, then select booking.com. Finally, click on the + button.
Step 15: Under Channel Hotel ID paste the Booking.com Property ID that you copied earlier.
Step 16: Under Rate select Sell Rate.
Step 17: Under Status select Inactive.
Step 18: Click on Save.
Step 19: Click on the Map action on the right.
Step 20: A pop-up screen will appear. Under OTA Listing Name select your Room Name as set on Booking.com. This is not always easy to find, as Booking.com uses several names for the same room type. To double-check, open your Calendar under Rates & Availability on Booking.com and hover on the Room Type to check the Room ID, which you can then cross-reference with the one that appears in the mapping page on Zeevou.
Step 21: Next, select the number of guests included in the base price under Applicable No of Guest for Room Based pricing. If you are using Occupancy Based pricing, click on + to add a row for each occupancy level. Don’t change anything for the rows up to your minimum number of guests. Above that, add the extra guest pricing as compared to your base rate for the number of guests included in your base rate. So, for example, if your price is set for 4 people and the 5th and 6th person have to pay an extra 30 GBP, set +30 for 5 and +60 for 6.
Step 22: For single use rate, toggle to enable. When enabled, the option will appear to allow you to set up multiple rates.
Step 23: In the field right to the right of it, you can increase the rate that is being sent out. For example, to add 15% to the price, change the 1 to 1.15 or to add or deduct a certain amount you can type -10 or +10 in the other box.
Step 24: Click on Save.
Step 25: You should get a confirmation message saying Room Successfully Mapped.
Step 26: Click on the Key symbol the black square on the top right corner. On the pop-up screen that appears, click on the >next to Remove and then change the status from Inactive to Active.
- On Booking.com, set your Extra Guest Pricing. You can do that by going to the Calendar under Rates & Availability, expanding the main rate, and clicking on Edit Occupancy Pricing. Make sure that the base number of people is correct. If you need this to be changed, you need to call up Booking.com and ask them to do it for you.
- Future bookings (those starting as of the following day from when the mapping is completed) will start to import. Check back in a few hours to make sure all your future bookings have been successfully imported.
- Please note that when mapping initially, the bookings that are imported from Booking.com do not contain all the information, such as contact details and payment details. New bookings made after the mapping will include these details automatically. For the existing future bookings, kindly update them manually with the necessary information. You have an option of marking bookings as Channel Collect in bulk from the All Bookings grid on the right by clicking on the three dots and then selecting “Mark As Channel Collect” with the Star Symbol.
