Finance in Booking View

Keep track of your finances with the Finance Tab in Booking View! Under the Finance Tab, you can view Price, Security Deposit, Guest Invoice, Expenses, Refunds, Investor information, Payment Terms and Tax Rate in separate cards.

Price

With Finance in Booking View, you can easily view the Collection Type, Rate Plan and manage Price Breakdown. If you click on the Share Payment Link, you can select Copy or View Link.

More

Depending on the payment status (Paid, Unpaid, Partially Paid, Credit), you can edit each by clicking More.

Note: When the payment status is Partially Paid or Unpaid, you can generate a link to receive the rest of the payment by clicking on More and selecting Generate Partial Payment Link.

 

Then, a window appears in which you can set your desired amount and click on Generate.

Note 1: When you click on Log Payment, a window opens in which you can insert the Amount, and select Date, Time and Payment Type from the drop-down. Inserting the Reference and Description is Optional. Finally, click on Log.

Note 2: When you click on Add Discount, a window will appear in which you can select Discount and insert its amount, or select the Promotion from the drop-down or enter the Voucher code. Once done, click on Add.

Price Breakdown

If you click on the arrow in front of the Price Breakdown, the details of prices will appear. The Accommodation, Fees, Penalties, and Upsells are editable by clicking on pens. Note that you should have already turned on the toggle of Card, on the Payment Methods card under Upsells& Payments tab of Confirmation Page Settings dashboard.

Note: If you click on Fees, Penalties, Upsells or Discounts, a window appears and asks for Void.

Log Security Deposit

You can view the Amount and Status of the Security Deposit here. You can Log Security Deposit if you click on More. Then, a window will open in which you can insert its Amount, Date and Time and select the Payment Type from the drop-down. Note that the Reference and Description are Optional to insert. Finally, click on Log.

Charge & Release Security Deposit

You can Charge or Release the Security Deposit by clicking on Charge & Release. When you click on Charge & Release, a window will appear in which you can select the Penalty Type and insert Associated Cost, Amount to Capture and Reason. Finally, click on Save And Close.

NOTE: When you pay the security deposit by the gateway and you click on Charge & Release, a window appears in which you can choose how to charge: Capture Now or Log Charge.

You can click on Show Details to view and edit more details about the Penalty. You can also click on the three dots to Edit or Remove Penalty.

Guest Invoice

You can view the details of the Guest Invoice, its Entity and Status, and the Recurring Invoices on this card. When the booking is checked out, the invoice status changes from Draft to Completed.

When the status is completed, you can send the invoice to Xero by clicking on Post to Xero. Then, the invoice status changes from Completed to Posted. Then you can see the Xero Link and you may remove the invoice by clicking on Remove from Xero.

Note: You may share each Invoice or get a PDF version by clicking on the download sign in front of each invoice.

Expenses

You can view and edit the information about the Expenses on this card. The details of Expenses are demonstrated by clicking on Show Details. You can also click on the three dots for each expense to View Monthly Supplier Bill or Edit Total Amount.

Note 1: You can Delete only the Expenses which are created manually.

Note 2: If you click on New Expense, you can create a new expense.

Investor

You can view the information about the Investor Deal(s), Management Fee, Investor Income and Investor Expenses on this card. You can also click on Show Details to view more details.

Payment Terms

You can view the Payment Terms status here. You can also click on Open Payment Terms to view more details about

 instalment status, due date, instalment amount and number of instalments.

Once the payments are complete, they will be shown like this.
