Integrating Stripe with Zeevou allows you to automate security deposit charges and refunds. Follow the steps below to set up your Stripe account and streamline the process:
Connect your Stripe account in Zeevou via Integrations under Payments.
Navigate to Settings > Finance > Security Deposit Collection Methods, and enable the Card toggle.
Select your Stripe gateway and tick Auto Charge / Auto Refund.
Note: Stripe pre-authorisations last only 5 days. For longer bookings, use either the Auto-Capture / Auto-Refund option or the Security Deposit Extension module.
Re-Pre-Authorisation vs Auto-Capture: How to Proceed
Re-Pre-Authorisation Option:
You can configure the system to re-pre-authorise the card; however, this method carries a risk, as re-pre-authorisation is not guaranteed.
Auto-Charge / Auto-Capture Option:
You can enable auto-charge or auto-capture. Please note that this option incurs additional fees from Stripe.
