How does Finalisation process work?

Booking status should be Checked-out, No Show, or Canceled for the Finalisation process. By Finalising a Booking, the Security Deposit will be released, your invoice will be posted to Xero and you will no longer be able to edit the invoices. You can finalise a booking in two ways:

1-Go to All Bookings Dashboard and click on the arrow and select Awaiting Finalisation. Then, you will be directed to Awaiting Finalisation Dashboard. You can click on three dots of your desired booking and select View, Finalise or Mark as Finalised.

2- Go to Booking Overview-> Manage Booking arrow and click on Finalise Booking.

Note 1: If the finalised booking needs to be edited for any reasons, you should Undo Finalisation to enact your desired edits. To do so, you can go to the Booking Calendar, click on the booking. On the open drawer, you can click on Undo Finalisation.

Or go to the Booking Overview and click on Undo Finalisation.

The finalised Invoice should be voided from Xero but the Security Deposit can not be released or reauthorised.

Note 2: You can search different statuses of Finalisation by Filter drawer on Bookings Dashboard.

Note 3: You can also select Mark as Finalised which will prevent any furthur changes to the Booking. You can use the Undo Mark as Finalised to make changes in the booking.
