Connect to Trip.com
Step 1: Contact Trip.com Support to update your Channel Manager to Zeevou (STAAH) for all your listings before beginning the mapping process. Additionally, request the XML username and password for each listing.
Note that you can begin the mapping process upon receiving the credentials.
Step 2: Log into app.zeevou.com and go to the Listings Dashboard.
Step 3: Open your desired listing and click on Manage Channels in the top right corner.
Note: If you are using Safari, the new pop-up window might not open. Please follow the steps mentioned here.
Step 4: Click on Select Channel on the right, then select Trip.com. Finally, click the + button.
Step 5: In the pop-up window, enter the following details:
Channel Hotel ID: Paste the Trip.com Hotel ID you copied earlier.
XML Username: As provided by OTA.
XML Password: As provided by OTA.
Select Rooms: Select your desired unit type(s) to map with this Trip.com listing.
Currency: Choose your desired currency from the drop-down menu.
Rate: Select Sell Rate.
Status: Select Inactive.
Click Save.
Step 6: Under Action, click Map next to Trip.com.
Step 7: On the next page, click Map next to your desired Unit Type.
Note 1: Each Unit Type and Rate Plan in Zeevou must be mapped separately.
Note 2: Repeat this step for each rate plan in Trip.com, or ask their support to make them as derived rate plans.
Mapping Details:
In the pop-up window:
Step 8: Under OTA Listing Name, select your room name (the manageable one). You can find the room name and ID under Property / Room Setup.
Step 9: Under PMS Rate Plan, select your desired Zeevou Rate Plan from the drop-down menu.
Step 10: Breakfast Included: If breakfast is included, tick the box.
Step 11: Under No. of Guests, click + to add a row for each occupancy level.
Do not change the rows up to your minimum number of guests.
For additional guests, enter the extra guest pricing relative to your base rate.
Adjusting Rates:
Step 12: Use the provided fields to adjust the rates being sent:
Markup Percentage (next to the "×" sign): Enter a multiplier to increase/decrease the rate by a percentage (e.g., to add 15%, change the value from 1 to 1.15).
Extra Charges (next to the +/- sign): Enter a specific amount to add or deduct (e.g., enter +10 to add 10 units or -10 to subtract 10 units). This is useful for extra guest fees or other charges.
Step 13: Click Save.
A confirmation message, “Room Successfully Mapped”, will appear.
Final Activation
Step 14: Click the black square with the Key symbol in the top right corner. In the pop-up window, click the > symbol next to Remove, and change the status from Inactive to Active.
NOTE: Future bookings for Trip.com are not imported automatically. Please create them manually in Zeevou or use the Booking Import Instructions.
Disconnect from Trip.com:
Log into app.zeevou.com and go to the Listings Dashboard.
Open your desired listing and click on Manage Channels in the top right corner.
Click the Key symbol in front of Trip.com.
In the pop-up window, click Remove.
