Review and Manage the Default Guest Email Journey

Understand when Zeevou’s default guest emails are sent, what they do, and how to review, customise, or disable them

What Is the Default Guest Email Journey?

Zeevou provides a set of default automated emails to keep guests informed throughout their stay—from booking and check-in to departure and post-stay follow-up.

These messages are triggered automatically based on the booking and guest journey, so you do not need to send each email manually.

Before going live, we recommend reviewing the default messages to make sure their content, timing, and conditions work for your business.

Default Guest Email Journey

  • Online Check-in Request – Invites guests to complete their online check-in before arrival.

  • Check-in Completed – Confirms that the guest has successfully completed the online check-in process.

  • Pre-arrival – Shares important information to help guests prepare for their stay, such as arrival details and reminders.

  • Post Check-in – Supports guests and encourages them to request additional services.

  • Pre-departure – Reminds guests of the upcoming check-out and shares any departure instructions.

  • Post Check-out – Thanks guests for their stay and includes a review request or other follow-up information.

The Default Host Notifications

  • Online Check-in Completed Notification – Sends when a guest completes the online check-in so you can review and verify their information.
