When creating a Promotion or Voucher Code in Zeevou, you can define customised discounts that apply to your Direct Booking Website or Manual Bookings. Promotions are designed to help you control pricing, reward loyal guests, and drive more direct reservations. During setup, you can specify discount details, set conditions, and determine where the promotion applies — including whether it should be available only for Direct Websites and Manual Bookings or extended to Channels (Only Connection Type A), as shown in the Allocation section.
Log into your Zeevou account.
Navigate to Pricing on the main menu.
Click on Promotions.
Click on Create a Promotion in the top right corner.
When you click Create a Promotion, a pop-up window appears informing you that:
For percentage-based promotions, the promotion will only apply to those fees for which Included in Nightly Price has been enabled in the Rate Plan.
There are five cards to fill out: General Info, Conditions, Marketing Info, Settings, and Allocation.
General Info
Internal Name: Enter a unique name for internal use.
Discount Type: Choose between Percentage or Fixed Amount.
Insert Discount Amount.
Click on Add a Description to add a note, which is internal and the guest cannot see this.
Conditions
Set the conditions for the promotion by toggling on your preferred options.
Marketing Info
Turn on the Display Marketing Information toggle to insert the details.
Add a Marketing Title to be shown on your Direct Booking Website. (Optional)
Add a Marketing Description to explain the discount to guests. (Optional)
Set a usage limit for the promotion by turning on the Promotion Limit toggle and selecting the desired number.
Note 1: You can only have either Promotion Limit or Voucher Code toggled on at one time.
Note 2: You can click on the Delete icon in front of the voucher code. If the voucher code has not been used in any bookings, click on Remove. If the voucher code has been used in one or more bookings, you should Decrease Limit instead.
Enable Promotion Stacking to allow multiple promotions to be used together. (Optional)
In the Allocation section, you decide which sources and rate plans the promotion should apply to:
Source Selection
Direct Websites and Manual Bookings – Select this to ensure the promotion is only applied to bookings made directly through your website or manually in Zeevou.
Channels – Selecting this would apply the promotion to all integrated channels (OTA bookings), if desired.
Rate Plan Selection
All Possible Rate Plans – Automatically applies the promotion to all existing and future rate plans, saving you manual updates.
Specific Rate Plans – Choose this to apply the promotion to selected rate plans only.
Note: The created Promotion will be applied to all possible Rate Plans, including future Rate Plans you may create. This means the Promotion will be automatically added to all eligible Rate Plans, saving you from having to manually apply it each time.
View or Delete: On the Promotions Dashboard, use the three dots under Actions to View or Delete a promotion.
Inline Editing: Hover over each promotion and click on the pencil icon to edit the Name or Discount.
Columns Customisation: Click on the columns icon to enable more information items on the Promotions table (e.g., number of guests, nights, booking, arrival date range, etc.).
