Set Rates Manually

If you intend to use a Dynamic Pricing Provider, you can skip this step and go straight to enable dynamic pricing.

You can manually set and adjust your rates in two ways: using the Rates & Availability Calendar for quick individual date edits, or the Calendar Toolbox for detailed rate configuration across date ranges.

Default Rate Settings

When you create a Unit Type, rates are automatically set based on the Default Rate. Editing the Default Rate will not change the rates for any specific dates for which you have set manual overridden rates.

Method 1: Rates & Availability Calendar (Quick Edits)

Use the R&A Calendar to quickly adjust rates for individual dates:

1. Navigate to Calendar on the main menu

2. Edit rates using either method:

Method A: Drag to Select

• Drag across your preferred dates on the pricing row

• A pop-up will appear

  

• Enter new Price, Min Stay, and Max Stay

• Click Save

Method B: Double-Click

• Double-click on a specific cell

• A pop-up will appear

• Enter new Price, Min Stay, and Max Stay

• Click Save

Overriding Rates

Note: Rates can be overridden at any time by creating or setting a new rate. The most recently applied rate will take precedence.

Method 2: Calendar Toolbox

Use Calendar Toolbox to set rates for specific date ranges with detailed controls for pricing and restrictions.

Create Rates

1. Navigate to Calendar on the main menu

2. Select Calendar Toolbox in the top-right corner

   

3. Click Create Rates

4. Choose your rate type: Nightly, Weekly, or Monthly

You'll be directed to a new page with two configuration steps:

Step 1: Rate Settings

Select Your Time Period:

• Click the Time Period box

• Choose your dates from the calendar

  

Choose Your Setting Type:

Option A:

Fixed Rates Apply the same rate for the entire selected period (not available for Weekly Rates).

• Price: Enter the nightly rate

• Extra Guest Price per Night: Set additional charges for extra guests (optional)

• Min Stay: Set minimum stay requirement

• Max Stay: Set maximum stay limit

Set Restrictions (optional):

• Override Stop Check-Ins: Guests cannot check in on selected days

• Override Stop Check-Outs: Guests cannot check out on selected days

• Override Stop Sell: Guests cannot book on selected days

Option B:

Day of the Week / Month of the Year Set specific rates for different days or months (not available for Weekly Rates).

• Enter pricing and restrictions for each day/month

• Configure Price, Extra Guest Price, Min Stay, Max Stay for each row

• Set restrictions using the toggles

Note: When you fill in the first row, the data will automatically be copied to the rest of the rows. You can manually change the data in each row if needed.

Click Next to continue.

Step 2: Apply To

Choose which Rate Plans should receive these new rates:

1. Select the Nightly/Weekly/Monthly Rate Plans you want to apply the rates to

2. Open all arrows to ensure you're applying changes to the correct Rate Plans

3. Review all settings

Note: Rate Plans are filtered based on the selected currency.

Click Complete to save your rates.

Your new rates will appear on the Rates & Availability Calendar.
